Hello, Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my web site :) I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. My love for beads goes way back to grade school I guess. The first beaded project I ever made was a Eagle Bookmark I made for my dad using a bead loom. I believe he still uses that same book mark today. In 2004 I left my full time job seeking other avenues of income, and began to dabble in beads once again. I started making jewelry and selling different pieces of it to my family and friends. I had a lot of positive feedback, and a friend suggested that I have a Beading Party. I took all my beads and some of the jewelry I had made up to her house. People were able to buy from my inventory or design their own jewelry creation. The party was a success thus launching my beading career into full swing. I decided it was time to name the business, I wanted a name unlike any other name I had heard before. My sister and I were tossing ideas around trying different names and then it hit me -- Burpur. This is what my nephew called me when he was little, Aunt Burpur". He could not pronounce "Jennifer" so that is how Burpur's Beads & More came to be. I take great pride in every piece of jewelry I make. People have told me my jewelry is "different" from other jewelry they have seen. Customer satisfaction is very important to me-- I have a very close relationship with my customers, and that is what sets me apart from other jewelry artists I believe. This also brings back repeat customers. Educating my customers on how to care for their jewelry, and how to tell the difference from a filled bead and a "plated" bead is also something I take great pride in doing. My business has grown and changed a lot since 2004, and keeps getting better every day. Please visit my site often, the vast majority of my jewelry is OOAK ( One of a Kind) and when something is sold it will not be duplicated, many of my pieces contain vintage beads, making them unique. I hope you have enjoyed reading a little about me , as much as I have enjoyed sharing my story with you.
Beadingly yours,
Jennifer
